Two Friends

                     Two Friends

I saw them walking down the lane together

It was beautiful

All smiles and laughter in the golden green

And glow

Of that sunny afternoon,

They weren’t even holding hands

But they were held together

Held by something innocent and pure

Unseen and shining

At that time they were just friends

‘Just’-that is,with Integrity,

Honourable,Noble,Fair

‘Fair’-that is,Beautiful-as I said,

That kind of friendship

 - I wish people always began that way-

Just friends

A just beginning,

With promise of a fair journey
